Purrwave Cookie Policy

Version 1.0  ·  Effective: 30 July 2026  Last updated: 30 July 2026

Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device. Ours uses two kinds.

Cookies we need. A handful keep the site working — protecting our forms from abuse, preventing redirect loops, and remembering the choice you make on our cookie banner. These are set automatically, because without them the site misbehaves.

Cookies we ask about. SquareSpace Analytics tells us how many people visit and how many go on to join the mailing list. Nothing in this group is set unless you accept it on our banner. Decline, or close the banner without choosing, and none of them appear. You can change your mind at any time using the Cookie Settings link in our footer, and rejecting is exactly as easy as accepting.

Our site is built on SquareSpace, which sets these cookies on our behalf. SquareSpace publishes the current list, with names and durations, at https://support.squarespace.com/hc/articles/360001264507. We link to it rather than copying it out, so you get the accurate version rather than one we forgot to update.

Google reCAPTCHA. Our signup form is protected by Google reCAPTCHA. When the form loads, Google receives information about your device and browsing behaviour in order to tell people from bots. We never see it, and Google handles it under its own privacy policy. We treat this as necessary to keep the form usable – without it the list fills with junk addresses within days. If you would rather not involve Google, email us at info@purrwave.comand we will add you to the list by hand.

We do not use advertising or retargeting pixels, we do not use Google Analytics, and we do not embed video players. If any of that changes, we will update this page and ask for your consent before anything new is set.
